What: KC Help in Tri Cities and Wenatchee is closed. Tentative re-opening the first week of April
Why: To perform deep cleaning of current equipment inventory and facility with methods shown to be effective in eliminating the Novel Corona Virus.
KC Help is closed so that a deep cleaning of our facility and our equipment can be accomplished with upgraded methods meeting the CDC recommendations to eliminate the Novel Corona Virus. These methods require special fogging and spray equipment and solutions, hand sanitizing stations, and facemasks.
KC Help strives to provide functionally sound, clean durable medical equipment free of contamination to our clients. To do this, in our current environment, we need to upgrade our methods for sanitizing all equipment. As new information on the virus is obtained, adjustments and re-cleaning may be necessary. Currently, we are changing our methods of receiving equipment, our methods of cleaning equipment as it is received, and in changing our visiting room access to limit close proximity grouping. This will take some time as we add to the facility and obtain cleaning equipment and supplies shown to be effective. We hope to be able to re-open the first week of April. Our processes will be changing and we will provide information of those changes as soon as we can.
Our primary goal is to protect our volunteers, staff, clients and their families as we serve you. Please be patient with us as we work to upgrade our system to new standards.
Our prayers are with you as you manage with this necessary delay. We will re-open as soon as we are able. If you are able and willing to volunteer to help us please leave a message at 509 212-0900 with your name and contact information.
Please check back to this website or call our phone 509 212-0900 for further information as it becomes available.

Nothing! Yes that's right. There is no cost to you for the use of this equipment. KC HELP provides this service to the Community free of obligation. If you need an electric wheelchair we need you to help us with the cost of the batteries if you can, because most donations we receive come without good batteries.
The Knights Community Hospital Equipment Lend Program (KC HELP) is a nonprofit 501 c(3) corporation that provides basic hospital type equipment needed for home convalescence to persons who lack the means to obtain such equipment.
For over twenty years, KC HELP has grown from serving six clients per month to over 200, helping thousands of people gain free access to much needed medical equipment in the greater Tri-Cities, and across the Washington state region and beyond.
